The Dress
I felt like a princess in this dress! It is flowy and twirly. I love it so much and would like someone else to experience it's joy rather than sitting in my cupboard.
The lace on the bodice is delicate with a slight shimmer. What sold it for me was the beautiful beaded pearls! (Difficult to capture how beautiful the pearls are in photographs).
The underneath layer is champagne coloured with ivory chiffon overlay. Overall still keeps the "white bridal" look but suits my paler skin than pure white would.
It is a size 8. I could get the zip up as a size 10 but didn't like how a few bulges (eg around my upper back and in front of armpits) looked so did lose some weight prior to the wedding.
Alterations
I changed the champagne chiffon overlay to ivory chiffon. Same fabric and style. No changes to sizing.
