The Dress

I never thought I would've gone for a big a-line dress for my wedding but when I tried Maeve on I knew she was the one. The dress was everything I wanted - classic but at the same time with an extremely modern feel. The pattern of the lace, and the blush undertones, along with the extremely flattering v neck and low back made it completely unique. Layers of tulle create that beautiful volume that you can see in the photos. Most importantly the dress was also extremely comfortable and is actually relatively light so is easy to move around in.

The dress was purchased in Browns Bride in London and has been expertly dry cleaned by Lewis & Wayne in Chelsea. I only had her on for 5 hours as I had changed into a second dress for the dancing, so she is in excellent condition.

I also have the plain Monique Lhuillier veil that I wore with the dress - happy to also include that with the purchase.

Alterations

Straps were shortened to ensure they did not slip off. Bra cups were added so you could wear this dress without a bra. The dress was also shortened to fit my height - I am 170cm and I wore 70mm heels with the dress.
