The Dress

This partial corset wedding dress is called the "Timeless Emerson" by designer, Justin Alexander. I bought this dress at The Blushing Bride Boutique in Frisco, Texas for my October 28th, 2021 wedding.

This nostalgic ivory dress is simple yet elegant. It was also practical for my wedding day. I say this because it was lightweight compared to all of the other heavy wedding dresses I had tried on. It also has hidden pockets which came in handy during the ceremony and for the reception. The material is crepe/satin. It barely hugs the waistline which means that you have some room to eat/drink and enjoy your evening without having to "suck it in" all day. It has sentimental value and I would love to sell it to someone that values love, life, and family!

I had cups added to the dress for breast enhancement/lift. For reference, I wear a 34C. I also shortened the train so only 3-4 inches drag on the floor. I am 5'7 and I wore 2 inch heels that day. In pants, I usually wear a small/medium (4 or 6). I wear a small/medium in shirts. I am open to questions if you feel uncertain about the size. Hope this helps!

Bust: 34"
Waist: 29"
Hips: 39 1/2"

Alterations

This dress WAS a size 10. After alterations, the seamstress sized it at an 8. I had cups added to the dress for breast enhancement/lift (these can be removed by a seamstress if you do not like them). For reference, I wear a 34C. I also shortened the train so only 4-5 inches drag on the floor. About 2-3 inches drag in the front. In pants, I usually wear a small/medium (4 or 6).
