The Dress

What I absolutely LOVE about my wedding dress: IT. HAS. POCKETS!!! (I held my hankerchief in the pocket and was able to easily pull it out during the ceremony); the straps are thick and do not pull on the rest of my body (I have always felt like I have big/broad shoulders, so the thick straps made me feel small); the sinching around the waist fits perfectly to me and "holds me together"; the back of the dress is not just a v-shaped but what I call a "squared-off v" (reference the pictures - I love the way the THICK squared-off v straps fitted to my back); the material is thick and elegant; the bustle (if wanted) is under the dress and professionally tied with string.

What I would change about my dress: the only complaint is that it was a little too long for me to walk in. On my wedding day, I had to hold up the dress just the slightest bit to walk comfortably.

What you need to know: all of the above information + I did not get my dress dry-cleaned. There is obvious mud marks on the bottom of the dress that will come out if you specifically request help at the dry cleaners. The instructions on the tag say it has to be dry-cleaned and is 100% polyester.

Alterations

A modesty piece was added to the front of the dress to cover cleavage and hold my girls in (you might be able to take this off). I got the underarm area and boob area brought in to fit me better.
