The Dress

I am so excited to offer my custom wedding dress to the next bride-to-be! This ivory gown is perfect for those who want a drape that accentuates your figure, has lace but only a little bit so as not to overwhelm, and loves the look of a strapless dress but needs extra support! This 100% silk dress has gentle draping that gathers at the hip, subtle folds of lace atop the silk, buttons down the low back (with a hidden zipper!) and custom-made sheer pleated straps. Sewn-in cups (made for a large C but fit my DD just fine) and boning for extra support, a five point over AND under bustle (five points for the beautiful top layers then an additional under-button for the bottom layer. Beautiful long train with subtle lace details - long but not TOO long! If you're looking for a dress that makes you feel like a queen instead of a princess, this is it. Does not include sheer cape, they're available for a song on Etsy, and back of straps include minuscule thread loops to attach one if you have it! Originally purchased for $1200, with an additional $500 of alterations done and $180 in professional cleaning/preservation. Small stain in train, not terribly noticeable as it's hidden in the folds.

Alterations

Custom-made sheer pleated straps, sewn-in C-DD cups. Hemmed to a great length for someone in the 5'2"-5'5" height range.
