The Dress

This is a brand new Tadashi Shoji “Zenner Leaf” dress. It has only been worn to try on and all of the original tags are still attached. Color is “ivory petal”, which is a very pretty ivory lace with a very flattering pale pink lining.

I found that this particular dress ran large and would have needed more alterations, which is the only reason I didn’t wear it for my wedding. I typically wear a size 6 in jeans and 10/12 in dresses since I’m bigger on top. The measurements are pretty true to the size chart on the Tadashi site (definitely more of a “street size” 10; NOT a “bridal size” 10). The measurements given above are from the Tadashi size chart.

Dress is fully lined with a stretchy jersey material, except for the sleeves and illusion neckline; the skirt is doubly fully lined and has a single layer of tulle as well.

Overall this is a beautiful lace dress and very comfortable. It’s definitely warmer, so probably not the best for a summer wedding.
