The Dress

Donna Salado 'Hettie' Wedding Dress - a standard size 10, with a corset back fastening which allows for some adjustment. The dress still fits beautifully and has retained it's stunning original shape, structure and detail. The ballgown style of this made me feel a million dollars and can no longer be purchased, making this not only vintage, but quite unique.

It comprises of a simple fitted bodice with a lace-up back, complemented by a large and detailed skirt. Underneath this is a full netted base, covered by a layer of decorative mesh stitched with organza flowers, overlaid with ivory silk, finished with pleats, knots and draping. This was professionally dry cleaned after my wedding, but has some yellowing stains on the front in approximately 3/4 sections. The dress will need some additional cleaning or alteration to replace the upper layer/s. Hence the heavily discounted price - dress cost £2500 new, suggested selling price here was £960.
