The Dress

This dress is from Wed2B in the Platinum collection - worn once for my wedding in March 2020 and stored in the Wed2B fabric bag in a smoke-free home (and safely away from the cat) since then. A small tear in the hem was repaired (professionally) immediately afterwards. The dress has beading design around the bodice and the length is chantilly lace all the way down to the hem, fully lined. Photos make it look white but it's more of an ivory - when the lace bunches at the bottom it looks like a really lovely champagne colour. The bodice has boning and no sewn-in cups. It's a fit-and-flare but a fairly relaxed fit.

The measurements on the listing are for the dress, not for me, except for the height which is my height in the shoes I wore. The Danika dress is still available in the Platinum collection so the website will show more photos.

Alterations

The scalloped hem has been adjusted (taken up to my height) and some of the train was removed at the same time. It was a great fit for me as a 12-14 on the day (12 on top, 14 lower down), but is labelled as a 14. I have had the bodice modified slightly to bring the bust in a little (was a 32E on the day)
