The Dress
I felt like a princess in this dress. I love all the beading and the glitz. The color is light gold with silver threading. It has a scrolled beading pattern on sheer tulle overlay bodice. There are rhinestones in the center. Beading is scattered on the pleated ballgown skirt. The train is beaded as well. I chose to have a French bustle and the seamstress made each button a different color so my sisters could easily assist me. My veil was very simple but allowed the dress to be seen. The dress fit perfectly with the lace up back. I wore at least 4 inch heels so someone taller could wear this dress. There were no other alterations made to this dress. We had it professionally cleaned and preserved after my wedding by Heider Cleaners, endorsed by the Assoc. Of Bridal Consultants and the Assoc. Of Wedding Gown Specialists.
