The Dress

The magical Fontaine dress in the white colour way - hard to find used in this good condition. Dry cleaned, completely unaltered (except hem) and in perfect condition - no missing beads, stains or holes. It really is in perfect condition which is why I am not willing to put the price down anymore!

This dress has two pieces - the external beaded dress and the slip.

The slip is white, but you can also purchase a beige slip from Chosen to change the look.

The external dress was made in split sizing; a Chosen size 3 on the sleeves/bodice/slip and size 4 on the waist, but there is give all over. The slip is stretchy, and I have a size 12 bum so it should fit a 10-12 overall.

I am happy to do try ons locally and can recommend an excellent seamstress for adjustments. She finished mine in just over a week and is a lot cheaper than bridal shops! I was so afraid that beading meant $$$ but she was great and affordable. The hem and slip adjustment (which obviously won’t need to be done again) cost under $500. Far cheaper than a bridal house!

Alterations

I added some velvet ribbon on the inside of the boat neck to prevent the tulle rubbing on my skin. This is invisible. No alterations were made at all to the waist, neck or or sleeves of the external dress. The external dress was hemmed to my height + 3.5 inch heels but *was not* cut, meaning the length is completely customizable as if it were new.

The lining had splits cut in to make walking easier but otherwise also had no alterations.
