The Dress

Never been worn, only tried on. Very comfortable! I could bend down and move around with ease. The fabric is very soft and the beading is not itchy on my arms. It has 4 layers of fabric, with the top 2 being 2 different designs of lace. It also has a built in bra to secure the bust and prevent it from sliding down. The train is gorgeous and very dramatic and would make for some amazing photographs. The fit showed off my figure and made me feel sexy and confident. The reason I am selling it is because my seamstress did not want to tackle cutting off the top layer of lace and sewing it back on to match the other 3 layers she hemmed to my height. I'm sure you can find a much more experienced seamstress. Even in 4" heels it was still too long and I would be tripping over it all night. I have since bought a new dress so that's why this one was never worn to my wedding.

Alterations

The tag says 14 but was brought in to a street size 6/8. The first 3 layers behind the top layer of in the front have been hemmed to my height which is 5'4" The top layer of lace would need to be cut off, hemmed and then sewn back on to match the length of the 3 layers behind it. The built in bra has also been taken in while I was wearing a strapless bra. Normally my bust size is 37" but I imagine the strapless bra might change the bust size measurements. The seamstress did not cut off any fabric from the sides(bust to hips) so it can possibly be let out back to a size 14. The 14 is more of a street size of size 10.
