The Dress

This truly beautiful, much sought-after dress is extremely versatile and is perfect for everything from an elegant evening affair to a Boho beach celebration. The shimmering sequin and diamante embellishment really is exquisite. I'm 5ft 9 and wore 2 inch heals. I'm probably more like a size 11 (10 for some things 12 for others) so I would say this is a small 12. The dress has layers of silk, chiffon and tulle, is fitted at the bust and flows down the body and so comfortable to wear.

I've had this professionally cleaned, but please note that some marks do remain. There is some light staining on the front around the lower left rib area and some around the hem at the back. But thanks to the shimmering nature of the dress and the layering I think you only really notice the marks at the front if you really look for them. The ones at the bottom at the back are also hard to notice. There are a couple of small red stains near the hem on the silk under-layer but I only spotted these after a thorough search of the dress as they are covered by an over-layer.

The only other thing is some of the sequins on the bust area have darkened a little over time (which some may not mind as it adds to the vintage feel), but there is a spare bag of beads and sequins that I will provide with the dress so you can have these replaced if you wish. I have set the price to take this and the marks into account.

I would prefer the buyer to come and collect to make sure they are happy with the dress if possible.

Alterations

I removed the train at the back so I could dance freely without worrying that I or anyone else would step on it! Please see the picture showing the back length.
