The Dress
Hi! I purchased this dress from Gabriella Bridal Salon in NYC in April 2020.
My wedding was postponed and then ultimately canceled due to COVID. As a result, this dress has literally NEVER been worn, not even to try it on (I only tried the sample on in-store). It is in perfect condition and has been carefully preserved in a garment bag.
The dress is exactly as pictured on Kelly Faetanini's website (Carousel collection, "Joy" dress) -- the only change is that the lace detail on hem and train comes separately. I preferred the dress without the lace since I wanted to keep it simple and more of the focus to be on the top of the dress (off the sleeve detail, back, etc.) However, the lace is included if you want to have a tailor sew it back on.
The dress is absolutely gorgeous and I'm sad I'll never have the chance to wear it. Hoping a beautiful bride out there will get to enjoy on her special day!
