The Dress

On the David's Bridal website: The scroll lace that adorns the bodice of this classic plus-size tulle ball gown creates an elegant pattern that partners beautifully with the illusion cap sleeves.

This really is a gorgeous dress. I bought it in June of 2019 for my October 2020 wedding. Well COVID happened so we postponed the big wedding until October 2021. The big wedding isn't happening now so this beautiful dress has been sitting in a David's Bridal garment bag the entire time. The first two pictures are from the website, and the last two are me in the sample dress in the store. This one has been tried on once and kept clean in a bag since then.

There have been no alterations but I'm 6'0 and with shoes, didn't need to hem it. I'm a DDD and the bust fit nicely but I was going to have it altered so there wasn't a little gap under the boobs. I'm a tall and big woman and it made me feel gorgeous, which I was worried about on my wedding day.

The top is a pretty lace and the bottom is tulle. This is in ivory. It's sleeveless but you can wear something with it if you like. I was going to wear a tulle ivory cape.
