The Dress

I remember seeing my dream dress in an old wedding magazine which didn't specify the designer so when I actually started looking at wedding dresses I was delighted to come across a pretty similiar dress to the one I was dreaming of!!! This gorgeous Matilda' dress designed and made by Karen Willis Holmes is an ivory corset bustier style wedding gown with beautiful lace work detail on the bodice and a full tulle three tiered skirt. I paid extra to have pieces of the lace that matched the bodice placed randomly on the skirt for a little something different (this may be visible on some of the above photos).

It is a AUS Size 8. It has an Internal hidden corset and is heavily boned, with buttons fastening on the bodice on the back of the gown. No bra is required and would probably suit a C cup. There is an Invisible zip in the skirt. The materials used to make the dress were corded lace & nylon tulle. It is fully lined - 100% polyester satin lining. A white velvet/satin belt also comes with the dress.

Not only did I feel really comfortable sitting, standing & dancing in this dress all day but It also made me feel like a princess which I can only hope another bride to experience :)
