The Dress

This dress was perfect for me. The bodice is kind of ribbed (I don't know if that is really the correct term) so it holds it's form, and held me in without being overly constrictive. I usually am very uncomfortable without a bra, but I could have gone without in this dress. I ended up wearing a stick on bra simply because I needed a little padding to fill it out all the way. The bodice cuts off just at the right spot for you to have plenty of flowiness in the stomach area so I didn't have to feel like I was sucking in all night, and I could eat all the cake I wanted. 10/10 for comfort.

Alterations

The straps were too long for me, so they were taken in about an inch. Also, the length was shortened by maybe an inch and a half-2 inches. (If I wore heels it would have fit as it came from the designer, but I refused to wear heels so we had it trimmed. I am 5'5" so the length would suit someone my size who is ok with wearing flats, or someone shorter who wants to wear heels.
