The Dress

I am selling my Marchesa wedding dress. As a gift to the buyer of the gown, I have decided to give a pair of bridal shoes from my shoe brand CamillaElphick.com https://www.instagram.com/camillaelphick/?hl=en

I wore the wedding dress in August 2021 and it is in absolutely perfect condition and I hope that another bride will wear it and feel just as much joy as I did.

I originally bought the dress from a bride-to-be on Still White. It was brand new and unaltered and I collected it new from The Wedding Club in South Kensington, London in June 2021. I also bought a cathedral veil there to match.

Marchesa Dress Size: US 2 (with tags)

The dress is an equivalent of a UK 6-8. I am usually a UK 8 but in waisted dresses sometimes a UK 6-8 and have a B-cup. You do not need to wear a bra with this dress. There is a zip fastening at the back.

My height is 163cm (5ft. 3/4) and wore 9cm high-heels.

The dress is like new as I only wore it for the church ceremony and the beginning of the reception. I then changed in two more outfits! The dress has been stored and comes in a wedding dress bag from The Wedding Club and I am including the veil - with original tags stored in its box in a Wedding Club bag. I have stored the dress in a dark and dry wardrobe along with veil in box so that they are ready to be worn again.

Alterations

The dress fit perfectly and the size did not need to be altered. I worked with couture tailor Lisa Redman to make bespoke straps in the same fabric and original petals from the bottom of the dress. I wanted to add an original touch but also make the dress feel secure and more comfortable. The dress length came "as Marchesa standard" and was taken up just at the front to hit just above the floor. The dress has a full train which we left as it adds lots of drama! We added a loop hole so you can hold up the dress when you walk which is very useful and looks very elegant.
