The Dress

I love, love, love this dress. It is beautiful and romantic. I was taken by the delicate lace detail and the way it accentuates the waist. The train is breathtaking! I got so many compliments on this dress and have so many precious memories from my wedding day. I felt like the most beautiful and most fortunate woman in the world. I’d like for someone else to share that feeling. I chose not to wear the ivory lace belt that came with the dress. I am including the belt with the dress. The straps are removable, so you can wear it strapless if you want.

I only wore the dress for the ceremony as I had a separate, short dress for the reception.

I originally purchased a dress size 10 (approx US street size 8). Because I lost some weight (approx 1 dress size), the dress was taken in and now has these measurements:

Bust 35
Waist 29
Hips 39
Shoulder to floor 56.5 (the length was altered less than 1 inch. I'm 5'5 and worse 2.5 inch heels).

The back and sweetheart neckline were NOT altered. There was a bustle added.

After the wedding, the dress was inspected, cleaned (with high quality organic cleaning solutions), and museum-quality preserved promptly by Dependable Cleaners which is a member of the Association of Wedding Gown Specialists. It is wrapped and stuffed with acid-free tissue. It has 100% international guarantee against caramelized sugar stains or yellowing of gown. You may return the gown to any participating certified wedding gown specialist for inspection and pressing at no charge. Copies of the inspection of the gown and the receipt can be furnished upon request.
