The Dress

New this season, it's tricky to find in the UK, so even if you're getting married next year - brides in this dress will be few and far between!

The Rosebay is the most INCREDIBLE dress - it's the perfect mix of boho but classic, under-stated but special, modern yet timeless - whilst offering a flattering, figure hugging fit that isn't restrictive and leaves you free to dance the night away without a care in the world.

Colour: Ivory with Blush inner (to show off more of the lace detailing). It's worth noting that the 'blush' isn't too pink and complements the lace perfectly.

Lace: As the lace is cotton it doesn't have a sheen (like some other synthetic laces I tried) and the rose pattern and panelling detail gives it a modern edge (versus some other lace dresses that feel a little twee).

Shape: The open back and lace made it surprisingly breathable and comfortable for a hot summer wedding, but as its mid-weight, it would also work perfectly for an Autumn/Winter wedding.

Feel: I felt so confident and relaxed in the Rosebay, truly like the best version of myself. It also pictures well from every angle!

Why I'm selling: I've been torn about selling the Rosebay, but I really love the idea of someone getting as much joy out of it as myself. It's too magic a dress to have one day out at the rodeo. Plus, as an avid bargain hunter myself, I hope a Still White bride will get a kick out of the BARGAIN price too! As it's still in many boutiques full price.

Alterations

No alterations were made to the fit, so the size is as is off the peg.

Pearl buttons have been added to finish off fastenings (simple zip originally) and matched lace has been added on the hem to soften the edge and add extra length. Both are very in-keeping with the dress and look as if they were always meant to be there, whilst making it all the more special.
