THIS GOWN IS PERFECT FOR EMPHASISING THE BACK AND NECK This "Indigo" gown is perfect for a bride who wishes to emphasise her back and neck. It's a particularly flattering cut for anyone with an athletic frame / broad shoulders and / or a smallish bust. IT'S NOT JUST BEAUTIFUL... IT'S CLEVER TOO! This gown is equipped with hidden buttons and loops at the back, allowing for it to be “bustled”. What this means is that (with a little help from one of your bridesmaids), the train can be gathered, hooked and tucked under the silhouette, making it look like you are wearing a floor length gown, while creating a stunning ruching effect at the back. IT FEATURES DUAL LAYERS OF FABRIC THAT FEEL LOVELY AGAINST THE SKIN I was attracted by the dual layers of high-quality fabric. The under-layer is a nude slink stretch that feels lovely against the skin and is easy to move in. The outer layer is ivory lace, with intricate patterns that have been hand-woven throughout. ALL MARIANA HARDWICK GOWNS ARE MADE TO ORDER Every Mariana Hardwick bride has her gown made to order. This one was cut to a size 10 and altered to my measurements - height 171cm, waist 66m, bust 81cm, hips 83cm. I wore Stewart Weitzman’s Nearly Nude heels, which are 8cm in height. You would be able to have the gown further altered to suit your own measurements and fit perfectly. THE GOWN HAS BEEN PROFESSIONALLY CLEANED AND STORED I have had the gown professionally cleaned, costing me $790. It was hand washed (as all bridal gowns are) and I understand it went through three cleans to make sure it was as pristine as possible. I then paid $132 to have it stored in a special acid free bag designed to preserve it, stopping mould and / or discolouring. THE VEILS^ AND SHOES ARE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE AS WELL The double-veil you see in my pictures is the Mariana Hardwick ‘Ivory’ veil. I purchased this for $425 and am selling this as well. ^Veils are now sold. My shoes were Stewart Weitzman Nearly Nude heels in size 38.5. I paid $720 for these and an extra $50 to have Topy professionally affixed to the sole for extra grip - I am willing to consider selling these too.
