The Dress

This dress made me feel like the best version of myself. The train was my favourite part, the way it moved along the floor made me feel like a princess! They call it a crepe material - I call it 'sucking in magic' - my tummy area is not my favourite but this dress made all my worries disappear. It's quite a heavy material which I liked as I felt secure in it. It doesn't really crease due to the material either. The lace on the back looks even better in real life -it's technically called an illusion back. It has cut out lace sections just above the hip which is one of my favourite features. My seamstress added a 'bustle' feature so I could pull the dress up smaller to dance in the evening. However as we got married in a pandemic, we did everything outside. So my dress at the bottom got quite dirty as you can see in the photos. There's also a red mark on it towards the bottom, as well as make up on the inside. where I took the dress off.

Alterations

The dress was made shorter for me as I didn't want to wear super high heels. It was also brought in at the waist as I have a little waist but big bum! It also has cups added so I didn't need to wear a bra (because of the illusion back) and it was adjusted at the shoulders so the caps weren't so tight on my arms.
