The Dress

Mikado spaghetti strap ball gown with stylized seaming on the bodice and buttons to train. A gorgeous, flattering, structured, formal gown. No alterations were made to the dress, it is in perfect, original condition.

Only tried on once because I purchased the gown for my summer 2020 wedding, which was obviously cancelled. We did a little court-house wedding but this dress was too glamorous for the courthouse. We don't know when we are rescheduling our big wedding, so this dress deserves to go to a bride who can truly enjoy her.

I am 5'7" and purchased this dress with the intention to wear 4" heels, which put me at about 6' tall. With those shoes on the dress hemline hit the ground perfectly, so this dress would work great for a taller bride, or could be tailored to fit a shorter bride. My waist was about 30" when I bought the dress, and this definitely has wiggle room. I would say could fit a 26"-34" waist with tailoring. Bust wise it could be re-tailored to accommodate a larger or smaller bust, but mine at the time of purchase was 38". With a ballgown/A-line style hip width does not matter.

The fabric is heavy enough in weight to be very flattering in the bodice. The wide skirt allows for dancing, eating, and all night partying (not so heavy that you would need a second dress), but still looks dreamy and formal. Not TOO heavy though, still very wearable.

Honestly such a wonderful dress. I hope it is your dream dress and can make you feel like a star.
