The Dress

I felt absolutely beautiful in this dress. I tried on about 60 dresses from 7 different stores, and this was the dress that truly made me feel like a bride. This is a lace dress with tulle over organza with satin lining. This dress has beautiful beaded detail around the neckline and the back. Those were my favorite parts of the dress. It hugged me in all the right places and made me feel slimming and it accentuated my hips perfectly. I also love the train of this dress; it's not too long, but not too short.

I added a beaded belt because I wanted more bling around my waist. I felt the front was a little plain. I think it added the right amount to make the dress even more unique.

The dress has not been dry-cleaned since my wedding day. There are some make up stains on the front of the dress on the lace (I kept touching my face from it being hot from dancing). The side of the dress where the arm holes go has a little bit of color from my arms rubbing against it from my spray tan.

No buttons are missing and there are no tears on the dress.

Alterations

I am 5'1. With heels I am 5'4 in it. I wore 3 in heels. The bottom of the dress sits right at the bottom of shoes. The dress was not dragging and I did not step on the dress when I had my shoes on. I also added a bustle and it is French style. The strings are hidden underneath the dress and are easy to tie.
