The Dress

The beautiful custom made 'Nika' wedding dress by Brisbane based designer, Ella Moda.

The dress was made from February 2021 for my wedding day in June 2021.

Beautiful detailed lace corset bodice and fitted skirt. The top tulle layer of the dress has a unique 3D textured flower lace pattern with small sequins and beads strategically placed and hand-sewn into the fabric. The second layer of the dress is a beautifully detailed lace fabric with subtle sequins throughout the fabric. The under-layer of the skirt is a fitted stretchy fabric and champagne colour.

There is an invisible zip on the back of the dress.

There is a small hidden button on the bum and another below the bum to secure the train when you are ready for your first dance. I buttoned my dress up for the first dance and then for the rest of the night which was great so the dress didn’t drag or get stepped on.

The dress was handmade to fit me. I usually wear between a size 6 - 8 (XS - S) depending on the brand. I wear a size B cup bra.

The dress has been professionally dry cleaned by Leon's Fine Dry Cleaning ($395). The dress is in very good condition with no marks or stains.
