The Dress
This was the dress I’d never imagined I’d wear! It was beautiful on the hanger, but looked too fancy for my usual liking, but once on, it became ‘the one’ (after 13 other attempts!).
The Dress was ordered from Fairytale Bridal Boutique in Aug 2019, for a January 2020 wedding. Dress arrived in Australia in December. We ordered it in a 16, although I’m usually a 14, to ensure the bust size.
The dress has a beautiful short trail, which can be buttoned up at the back when needed, beautiful detail in the front and back. The keyhole back was what first attracted me to the dress.
I paid $1900 for the dress, and then spent an additional $625 on alterations from the dressmakers at Fairytale.

Waist - 34.5cm
Hips - 45.5cm
Alterations including bust dart, neckline dart, back neckline dart, taking in under bottom, 6 x boning, and hem.
