The Dress
I'm not a big frills person, and was taken back at how special this dress made me feel. I wanted a dress that was beautiful and not over the top. This dress hit the mark. It was very comfortable and easy to move around in. There isn't so much material that it is unmanageable. I wore a veil, but removed it after the ceremony to show the beautiful back.
I have an athletic build and the a-line fit was flattering to my figure. It shows enough without being too revealing. The tie gave my waist more shape. It's silk and champagne color, which made it easy to find a dress match for my maid of honor.
I have bra pads sewn in. I don't have much of a chest. I also felt the seamstress didn't take in the dress as much as she could have. I didn't lose weight before my wedding, and the dress felt a little big and long.
