The Dress

This dress is similar to their Marilyn dress but it was the only one made by Sassi. It was originally made for the catwalk and then never shown so this is literally one of a kind and you won’t find this dress anywhere else (Marilyn has a pink underlay and this is purple).

The dress was bought for my wedding but due to covid this was cancelled and is therefore unworn (apart from to try on). I have had alterations which I have detailed below.

The dress is absolutely gorgeous and would be perfect for a summer wedding. I have taken measurements but if you need any more let me know.

Waist (when flat) - 13 inches
Bust to Floor (front) - 52 inches
Waist to Floor (front) - 44.5 inches
Waist (all the way around) - 27 inches
Back to floor (bottom of train) - 70 inches

Alterations

I had the dress altered into a strapless design so a bodice was added (it’s seamless you can’t see anything).

I also had the length altered, I am 5 foot 4 inches without heels and my heels was approximately 2.5 inches.

I hadn’t had my final fitting so there is still room for a small amount of alteration to the dress.
