The Dress

Dreamy and elegant Wendy Makin 'Santina' Ivory Wedding Dress, size 10. (Couture bridal collection).

The dress was bought in 2014 and worn for my wedding. It has been dry-cleaned and stored since in acid-free tissue paper and box. Originally purchased for $3200.

Santina is a timeless and elegant dress, that features an ivory guipure lace bodice, which feels very comfortable against the skin. The dress has a full circle layered organza skirt and train, which can be hooked up into the dress for dancing. The front of the bodice is boat neck, whereas the back is a stunning V-shape. The dress features a waist band made with ivory grosgrain ribbon and finished with a guipure lace and pearl flower motif on the left side of the waist. At the back of the lace bodice there are four pearl buttons to do up the gown, with an additional zip (22cm) below the buttons, which is hidden by the organza skirt.

Condition:

USED, dry-cleaned professionally and stored in acid-free tissue paper. The hemline of the dress was altered (I am 165cm without shoes). This dress is in excellent condition and does not need dry cleaning.

The dress can be tried on/picked up from Coogee or Chippendale in Sydney, or posted to anywhere in Australia or overseas (shipping costs includes extra cover for loss or damage).

Alterations

The hemline of the dress was altered (I am 165cm without shoes). As I have small shoulders, minor alterations were made at the shoulders (taken in slightly).
