The Dress

This is a classic lace A-line wedding dress made by Justin Alexander. It was perfect for my wedding, but I am ready for it to go to another beautiful bride!

The dress is a size 6 but would fit a person who is typically at a size 0 or 2. (For some reason, J. Alexander starts their dresses at a size 4.) It has a sweetheart neckline, buttons down the entire back, a long train, and an added bustle to make for easier dancing at reception. There are no sequins so it would look great with a beaded belt/sash. With regards to cleaning: the dress was professionally dry cleaned soon after my wedding in 2016, and has been stored safely since then inside the provided box in an air-conditioned room. It looks as good as the day I first tried it on!

Alterations

I did have minor alterations done on the dress. I had the seamstress take the dress in just a bit at the bust (which also made the sweetheart neckline not as deep), and also shorten the length only at the front. I also had them add a bustle. With my wedding heels, I stood at 5'6".
