The Dress

I really loved this dress for pictures and overall looks! It has really great poof at the bottom to give you a bit of the princess feel but a little sexy with the mermaid silhouette on the main bodice. I felt beautiful and sophisticated at the same time!

Beautiful rose laced dress with medium trail. Most lace dresses have different flower patterns but I chose this one because it’s unique lace of only roses.

The top lace is partial see through, enough to see some skin but remain modest. Capped sleeves covers just the curve of the shoulder so it doesn’t fall awkwardly over onto the arm. The little faux diamonds on the chest gave it a nice sparkle to frame your head/face so that a more simple jewellery is necessary or something with more bling to enhance it.

The bodice has a corset inside to keep a nice silhouette and flares at the hip/thighs to make it easier to walk around. The back is a zipper for the main body with button overlaying it and then just buttons on the lace part that begins halfway up the back up to the shoulder to give the same flirty but modest look at the front has but here it is half of your back.

The lace continues into the train of the dress but doesn’t fully cover it, it trails off into single lines and then leaves on a chiffon for the rest of the train. The train is short, it extends about a metre off the main bodice so you don’t have to worry about it too much. It has a way of tucking it in and tying it up underneath to keep it shorter and making easier to move around.

Alterations were made for the bottom part of the dress, from waist and hips down to the thighs. I am busty so the larger size is always necessary for “the ladies” to fit but the rest of my body is slim so I had to take it in a little. It’s not super tight because I wanted to move/breath freely so there is still some space for someone with more hip, butt and thighs.

Overall a beautiful dress that blends too great styles, mermaid and a bit of princess, for those who can’t decide like I did.

Alterations

It was taken in at the waist since I’m a busty girl so always need that done on dresses. Everything else remained the same.
