The Dress

I am selling my stunning Ronald Joyce Druina dress, purchased brand new and worn for my April 2021 wedding and immediately dry cleaned and in perfect condition.

When looking for my perfect dress, I fell in love with the beautiful high neckline and the absolutely stunning and unique sheer high back on the Druina. It also has beautiful detail all over - including subtle sparkle (tiny sequins) in the lace over the entire dress, beading around the neckline and waist, and tiny detailed beading along the arm hole edges. The train is also completely sheer and has an intricate scalloped edge.

The dress was ordered in a size 8 (Aus), and altered to fit me (size 6-8, bust 10B). The lace has a stretch to it and the lining is a jersey material, meaning it is extremely comfortable and flattering, shows no visible lines, and allows for versatile sizing. Given the stretch, it may fit a 6, 8 or small size 10 pending measurements.

Though I have listed the dress as 'fit and flare', it is described on the designer's website as both sheath and fit and flare. I would say it is somewhere in the middle, and describe it as slim line.

Alterations

The dress was altered to:
- Come in at the waist
- Add cups
- Add boning in the bodice
- Shorten length (including retaining scalloped hem)
- Remove residual lining under train (to create a completely sheer train)
- Bustle added
