The Dress

Timeless with unexpected, subtle detail and a contemporary silhouette, the Clarissa gown features a high neckline with a centre split button detail, elegant cap sleeves and a dramatic train. The back is equally as beautiful, with a fine split and button detail down to the waist. The figure hugging skirt has a statement split as well to mirror those in the bodice, so you can show off your wedding heels.

I loved wearing this gown so much. It was simple yet had beautiful small, elegant details and a dramatic train. It was so comfortable, with a stretch crepe fabric which did not easily crease. Easy to walk in, move in and dance. I did not want to take it off.

The gown has been fully and professionally dry cleaned at Syndals Dry Cleaners in Armadale.

Alterations

The dress was taken in only very slightly at the waist to be the same fit as the attached belt. It has been hemmed to my height (172 cm wearing 6 cm heels). A French bustle was also added (see second last pic) where the ties go under the dress as opposed to hooking onto a button or hook on the outside of the dress. Hand loops have been added underneath and cannot be seen when not in use.
