The Dress

Despite already having a wedding dress to wear, I bought this one because I could not stop thinking about it for months on end after laying eyes on it! I know, sounds cliched, but this was actually my dream dress.

The Kali by Mori Lee is a dreamy bridal ballgown featuring a sheet intricately beaded and embroidered high halter bodice with flounced organza skirt and an open keyhole back trimmed in covered buttons to complete the look.

The bodice consists of a detachable satin piece if you do not want the base of the bodice to be your skin. Otherwise, you can wear the dress without the detachable part and still flaunt it.

Used once and professionally dry-cleaned. Significant dry-cleaning costs have been absorbed by me; the asking price is simply half of the retail price.

Dress has been altered as below, but all beads and buttons are intact as far as I can tell. Spare beads and 2 spare buttons came with the dress but I have not needed to use them.

Overall the dress is in excellent condition.

P/s I have a tattoo on my chest; it's not the dress!

Alterations

Custom ordered to fit a US size 0/ UK size 2/ AUS size 4 (bust:32, waist: 23.5, hips: 35.5)

Altered to my measurements (bust: 28, waist: 23.5, hips: 34.5)

Alterations included:
- Bodice (both actual dress and detachable satin piece) taken in to fit my measurements
- Skirt was taken up 2 inches to fit my height which is 160cm/5ft 3in (165cm with shoes)
- 2 layers of the tulle skirt were taken off as it was too 'puffy' with them on. End appearance is as in photos.
- Bust cups put in (on both the actual dress and satin detachable)
- American bustle added to 'tuck' train in for first dance

Any beads removed were put back in post-alterations.
