The Dress

I adored wearing the Carnegie (Nolita 2019 collection) dress. I felt like a real bride. The fabric does not crease and looked immaculate all day. It also has pockets, comfy straps and a full, fun skirt with a beautiful train that bustled up with ease.

It was custom made by Georgia Young Couture in Melbourne, Australia from laser cut silk lace which added beautiful texture to the gown. I had people coming up to me all night wanting to see the fabric up close.

The neck line and straps are very flattering and the support in the bodice gives the bust a nice boost, which a super modern mesh insert. I loved the symmetry of the dress combined with the free flowing nature of the skirt.

Even thought the official colour is ivory because the lining was mushroom fabric, it appears white. I had white and blush dresses for my bridesmaids and the colours worked perfectly.

Worn once and I have had the gown professionally dry cleaned by drycleaners recommended by the Georgia Young. It is back to new condition.

I did not want to take this dress off at the end of the night. It was perfect and I hope someone else can get some joy out of wearing it again.
