The Dress
A gorgeous ballgown of a dress in silk tulle, with a fitted bodice and layers of gauzy white skirts. A proper princess dress!
The ruched, boned silk bodice sweeps up over one shoulder and a white rose corsage detail perches there. Down the back of the bodice is a row of beautiful tiny buttons (buttons are decorative; actually does up with hook and eye panel beneath and zip on top). The frothy, full skirt has layers of net over the underskirt: two layers of silk tulle and three more of a stiffer netting. It has a small train which fans out behind. Its a size 12 and was slightly altered to fit and the skirt was altered to fit my height of 5'4" with 2 inch heels.
The dress was professionally dry cleaned straight after the wedding and has been stored carefully in a protective bag in a smoke-free and pet-free home so it's spotless and in lovely condition.
