The Dress

Wedding dress shopping is so exciting isn't it? I always thought I'd buy a mermaid dress, but then tried this one on and immediately fell in love with the romance and delicate beading.

It's a light champagne colour, which tends to be more flattering than white or ivory. The skirt is made up of lots of floaty tulle layers (I wore it without a hoop, but if you wanted it to look bigger/more drama you could definitely wear a hoop with it). The bodice is covered in intricate embroidery, crystals and beads. It looked stunning when it was twirled about on the dance floor.

It's in almost new condition and has been dry cleaned and stored in a dress bag ever since our big day. There's no loose beads or threads etc.

I would love to keep it, but like most wedding dresses it's just hidden away from the world in a cupboard. I'll never have the space to display it and I can't see there being many wedding dress parties in my future, so I've decided to sell it and hopefully make another bride's day.

Alterations

Dress was altered to fit me. I am a size 8/10 and 5ft 7in (5ft 10in when wearing heels)
