The Dress

This mermaid dress by Pronovias with a natural waist, crafted in lace and tulle, hugs the silhouette, streamlining it to the maximum and enhancing the sensuality of the sweetheart neckline. The delicate lace fabric hugs the figure in all the right places finishing in a long, sophisticated train. There is a concealed corset underneath.

I wore this dress for my Covid wedding in July 2020. I purchased it from 'The White Room' in Mullingar, Ireland, and it was €2,100 new.

I am 5'3" tall and I wore 2" heels with it. The dress had to be taken up. The length covered my shoes but did not go under the shoes. I have measured the dress and it comes to 129cm at the front. There is a long train at the back as can be seen in the pictures.

The dress is a size 8 and it was taken in slightly at the hips, waist and bust. Cups were also added so that no bra needs to be worn underneath (my boobs are a B cup). A bustle was added for dancing to clip up the train!

The dress is ivory in colour and the silk slip which comes underneath it has a slightly pink hue.

There are three light and small stains on the back which I've photographed and which unfortunately did not come out on dry cleaning. These can only be seen close up. The lace at the end of the dress is in very good condition. The very end of the silk slip is slightly stained however this cannot be seen under the lace overlay.
