The Dress

Meet West from the Blush by Hayley Paige collection. This foxy lady features ivory Marrakesh beading, is a fit to flare bridal gown, with sweetheart neckline with spaghetti straps and low scoop back, elongated bodice with ivory embellishment over cashmere (blush) lining and full circular skirt.

Purchased and altered at Kleinfeld’s in NYC. Gown was worn for 6 hrs in Fall of 2018 and has been hung in it’s dress bag ever since. Never cleaned but like new condition, no damages to gown. No serious signs of wear, such as odor, tears or stains. The hem is the tiniest bit dirty along a small area of the train due to contact with cobblestone (outdoor ceremony) and dance floor (indoor reception). Truthfully, the affected area is so small (maybe a two inch length of tulle) that the new wearer could consider skipping dry-cleaning to avoid added costs. Would otherwise require cleaning for that reason alone.

Suggested resale value was $1750. Priced lower due to potential dry-cleaning costs. Other sellers of the same or similar gowns are priced significantly higher. But will still consider any fair and reasonable offers.

Matching Hayley Paige single-layer, cathedral length, ivory veil is also available for purchase separately.

Alterations

The gown was ordered in a “split-size” (14 top 16 bottom) as recommended by master seamstress at Kleinfeld’s for the sake of comfort, fit and mobility on a curvier frame (fuller breast and wider hips) and fitted twice to personal measurements. Thin Spaghetti straps were reinforced and cups were added to breast for gown to be worn braless (low back). Marrakesh sequin pattern was preserved in alterations throughout.

A stunning, form-fitting, romantic gown with a sexy flair and just enough drama. Received so many compliments, will be sad to let this beauty go but happy to know she’ll make someone else’s special day a dream come true.
