The Dress
I initially got this dress because it made me feel SEXY, like a siren off the silver screen from Old Hollywood. I intended to wear it at my 1920's Great Gatsby themed wedding, which is why I adorned the drop sleeves and a flapper headband (not included with the dress). This dress was my favorite fit and form, a mermaid/trumpet style gown with a long train and delicate beadwork. The extra peek-a-boo lace on the sides and the low back also make this gown elegant, feminine, and alluring.
Unfortunately, I had to cancel my wedding plans, and now I have a gown that I have never worn (except once in-store) and will likely not be wearing for any future engagement. However, it is a gem of a dress, and I would hate to see it sit in the garment bag forever.
