The Dress

I had this skirt made for my wedding by Melbourne designer Stacey Popovski, it's made out of a twill taffeta ( polyester, I chose this fabric as it had better body to silk and is easier to get dry cleaned, fabric was purchased from Tesutti fabrics )and it has a slip / lining under the main skirt ( built into the waist)
The waist has a 3.5 cm wide ribbon detail, this can be removed by a seamstress  ( as it has been sewn in before the zip, but has only been hand stitched around the waist)
It also has three ribbon loops and wristbands ( in ribbon) at the back of the skirt, to lift it up when dancing.
The hem  has a 4 cm mesh band to give the bottom of the skirt more volume.
And it has pockets!!!
This skirt has been dry cleaned and only has some light marks on the hem ( where it dragged on the floor) that did not fully remove when cleaned, but hardly noticeable.
Measurements : (I'm a size 8 on my waist and 12 on hips)
Waist: 68 cm , 3.5 cm wide
Length of skirt: Front: 100 cm from waist Back: 167 cm from waist
