Custom made couture wedding gown made in 2019 By Personalised Wedding Couture, a boutique bridal store located in Earlwood, Sydney.
I contemplated keeping my wedding dress all this time but have now realised I am happy to see it on another beautiful bride for her big day.
When making the dress I was going for a very simple, elegant, classic and timeless look. It is a true off the shoulder dress with a fitted bodice and scoop back entailed with looped buttons. The off the shoulder collar is layered to add an extra detail to the dress, and it is true to a sweetheart finish over the chestal area
The entire dress is one material all over with no lace or beading. I decided to let the satin speak for itself. The dress really does have a royal feel to it and once in it, you take on that instant princess status.
The skirt is followed by a train but don’t be too alarmed, the train can easily be hooked up to a button on the back of the bodice thus giving the illusion of no train at all (can be seen in the first and second last photo)
Sorry I have not added my measurements as I was smaller then to what I am now, so giving any measurements of my body now would not be accurate at all to when I made this dress. However I do think this dress is either a S to M size, and could definitely be taken in.
This dress really was a dream to wear and I had the best time in it. I had it professionally dry cleaned the very next day by my wonderful mum and it is ready to be tried and taken home by anyone who feels this is the dress for them.
