The Dress
A vintage gown in taffeta cangiante and beaded French lace. The fitted bodice has a flattering sweetheart neckline and lace-covered shoulder straps. The gown is covered throughout with the finest French lace, embellished with sequins and beads. The mermaid skirt and train have godet panels, creating a beautiful swirling effect when you walk in this gown.
This dress is absolutely stunning. It has a beautiful vintage feel to it with the delicately beaded and embroidered french lace which lays over a stunning metallic silk taffeta. The colour would suit many skin types/colours. I felt like an absolute princess in this dress and it's something a little special. It certainly is a head-turner.
Alterations
The bottom of the dress was taken up slightly as I'm just over 5 foot, 3inches. It has a lovely long train though, so would suit a variety of heights.
