The Dress

If you are after something elegant and unique, this dress is perfect for you.

This beautiful dress was custom designed by White April & And The Veil. I purchased it last year from And The Veil Bridal in Geelong for $2699 (excluding cost of alterations made).

This dress is called White April Kahlo, style WA8282.

This gown is made from an elegant, detailed corded lace and has a sleeveless neckline. It has been customised to have a beautiful V back which zips up and the sides of the dress have been filled with open lace as a nice touch. The dress is fully lined and also has tulle underneath the lace. It is floor length with a long train at the back and the dress contains both a wrist loop and ribbon bustle so it can be lifted if needed. It also comes with bra cups that can be attached.

This dress was so comfortable to wear on my wedding day and I felt really supported in all the right places.

I had this dress professionally cleaned straight after my wedding (January 2021). I was quite particular with how the dress was cleaned and therefore made sure it was hand washed and steamed, with no heat or harsh chemicals used. It is in immaculate condition.

The dress is currently hanging by the nude hanging tapes on a coat hanger, and is kept in the original bag.

I absolutely loved wearing this stunning dress on my wedding day and it truely deserves to be worn again.

Alterations

Some slight alterations have been made to the dress. These include the hemline taken up, lining shortened, lace attached to the tulle, shoulders raised at the back and bra keepers sewn on.
