The Dress

Our wedding was on 9.01.21 and I think the dress was one of the most unforgettable things! I had so many compliments about the dress - it is usually the first thing say when they talk about our wedding.

You can find all the details on the Rue De Seine website - The dress is called The East Gown.
Made from lace (rayon embroidery) with nude silk lining.

Also included is the 3mtr Parisian Tulle Veil - valued at $450 NZD also on the website.

I had the dress professionally drycleaned - total cost $400 NZD.

Comes with the tassel arm bands (see images) - unworn / brand new.

Alterations

The dress is a size 8 and I generally wear a size 6-8. It fit perfectly besides from the bust & length so I had some alterations done. I added cups (so no need for a bra) and took it in slightly so the straps sat better - I wear size 10C bra. I had the length taken up to sit just above the floor with shoes on. I am 167cm tall and was wearing Chaos & Harmony - Evermore shoe with a 3inch heel. I also added a new wrist loop added in a better position for holding the tail of the dress. Total cost for alterations $650 NZD.
