The Dress
This is a true princess dress. There are many layers to make the ballgown fullness. It is very fun to wear. The lace decals have a silver thread that sparkles in the light. I didn't originally like the jewels at the waist and so I had a plain ivory colored belt made, but did like the bow they sewed into it, so I didn't use it. I'm happy to send it along as well.
There are a few very small tears in the top layer of tulle, but you can't notice them unless you are really looking closely.
Alterations
I had the dress altered from the original style at the front chest area. It keeps the dress fairly modest and actually added more detail to it. It was also brought in a little around the waist from the size 14 as I had lost weight due to nerves. There are also sewn in bra pads for extra support. The bustle was not made properly, so you would probably need to have it altered to have a new bustle done. It worked, but showed the under layers of the dress, so not as pretty as it could be when bustled.
