The Dress

This dress was delivered to my house brand new, since then one person has come to my house to try the dress on (It didn't fit) so it has been opened, but never properly worn.

I tried on a sample in the shop (note how in the pictures of me its not a perfect fit, as it was a UK14), and it has now been made and delivered to me. It's hung, unworn, in my fiancee's wardrobe. I'm a 10 on top and 12 on bottom, but the shop I bought it from ordered me a 14 to be safe, so this will fit anyone a UK14 or below with alterations.

Also the sample dress is very tall, I'm 5'9'' and i was in heels on a platform and it was still skimming the floor - but obviously this can be altered.

I purchased this gorgeous dress when we were going to have a bigger wedding, however this plan has now changed, and we are having a much smaller wedding - as such I just feel like this dress wont work for the day we now have planned.

The dress is gorgeous - so modern and simple whilst still being traditionally shaped and so obviously bridal. I'd say that although this is technically a "ballgown" its not as huge and pouffey as it could be, and is somewhere between A-Line and Ballgown. It's also not as shiny as the model pictures look, it's softer.

As a proud member of the itty bitty titty committe, this dress made 'the girls' look amazing, and also during lockdown i've acquired the spare tyre around the middle - this dress skims it so perfectly so you feel skinny in the waist where it pulls you in, but also gives you room to breathe and have 4 portions of the meal you've paid for while hiding it amazingly well.
