The Dress

This dress really speaks for itself, luxurious - made from silk, elegant and classic with beautiful beading with vintage lace. The straps are made with beaded lace and the same detail is on the waist and then a few of the flowers flow down from the base of the low back and onto the train which just pick up a bit of sparkle in the sunshine.

The dress was designed with my help and is beautifully tailored to give shape around the bust with a boned bodice and detail around waist. It also has quite a long train. There are also loops so it can be hitched up for all that dancing.

This dress was made in New Zealand by a professional wedding dress maker. I'm approx. 160cm and a regular size 6-8.

Worn at my wedding in 2014. It has been professionally dry cleaned (at a cost of $250) and is currently packed and stored in acid free tissue paper. It is in very good condition - only worn once however some of the beads are a little loose (but could easily be re-stitched)
