The Dress

This elegant and romantic dress is an A-line ball gown with billowing skirt, fitted bodice, hidden back-zip closure and spaghetti straps. The tulle fabric is a blush color and the hand-stitched lace is white. The lace is truly gorgeous and photographs beautifully. I couldn’t have been more happy and confident on my wedding day in this gown!

The tulle underlayers and spaghetti straps make this dress comfortable to wear. I tried on a number of similar gowns that felt very heavy and uncomfortable. I had no problem wearing this dress all day and it is so fun to twirl and spin around in.

I purchased the dress at Carine’s Bridal Atelier in Washington DC (receipt available upon request). All alterations were completed by Carine’s in-house alteration team. Worn once for my micro wedding at home – no harsh wear and tear. I had the dress professionally cleaned and preserved (receipt available upon request).

Alterations

• The dress was hemmed to 5’9” height 3-1/2” heels)
• The straps were slightly shortened
• The bust had padded inserts added BUT were removed through the preservation process
• Bustle ties were added to the lining BUT removed through the preservation process
