The Dress
I purchased this dress from someone else who originally bought it as a sample. It was light and comfortable at the wedding on a warm day, despite it having many layers. It has one layer with sparkles. You can look at the BHLDN wedding website for Carmel Gown to see more pictures and descriptions. It retails for $1400 on BHLDN.
Alterations
I had it professionally dry cleaned and altered to include a one point hook and button bustle. It was hemmed as I am 5'3 and wore a 3 inch heel (see pictures). The straps were also tucked up about a half inch each as they were a little too long. I have a B cup so it would gape if I hadn't altered it there. I didn't wear a bra and it was comfortable.
