The Dress

I fell in love with this dress while it was on the hanger !
The silk is just so beautiful and I loved the look of the old style Hollywood
I had 4 girls with me all completely different ideas on what I should wear and all extremely opinionated and vocal
When I came out of the changing room ALL 4 started crying
I had a very small wedding in a private house and when I walked into the room I heard quite a few gasps
Not bad for a 55 year old mother of 4
The dress is Breathtaking in its complete timeless style
The fitted hidden corset made me feel like a size 8 😂😂
The dress was only worn until after dinner and then I got changed as it really is quite heavy but around the bottom and the train will need cleaned as we went outside onto a very wet grass for photos
It’s not too bad and could probably be spot cleaned
The reason I haven’t had it cleaned is because the dress will need taken up
I was wearing very high shoes and still felt it was too long .I am 5 ft 7
I’d say maybe 4 inches need to come off it
There is a detachable underskirt for the train to make it easier to dance later on
I am selling it with the matching full length veil
The dress was 3,200 and the veil was 300
I could never have afforded a designer dress but I had just sold my house and once I had tried it on there was no going back
I am selling it as it takes up a lot of room and I also want to give someone the opportunity of owning such a stunning dress but at a fraction of the price
